Navy head football coach Ken Niumatalolo has a picture in his office of of Jesus Christ walking in front of his disciples. “ Of all the great leaders and great men in this world, here is a man who lead in love and people followed him. This is exactly how I want our culture to be” said Niumatalo.

It is not of coincidence that one of the greatest leaders in the history of our existence, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., also lead in Love. “Everybody can be great … because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.” -Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

People were willing to die for these leaders because of Love: the most powerful word in the dictionary and the best motivational tool at your disposal. Want to be a great leader? Take a lesson from two of the greatest LEADers in history: LEAD with love.
