How do you measure a mans worth?
“The Ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge.” -Dr.Martin Luther King Jr.
How do you measure a mans worth? The world will tell you to count the money in his bank account, look at his job title or by prestige. However as the old saying goes, “The true measure of an individual is how he treats a person who can do him absolutely no good.”
It’s not difficult to treat people well when times are good. It’s easy to be in the winning locker room, to go to the gym when you’re feeling 100% and it’s easy to have faith in God when you’re king of the mountain.” But when your back is against the wall and the deck is stacked against you what will others say about you? Will they say that you loved others, lived everyday with an enthusiastic work ethic and positive attitude or that you let circumstances dictate your demeanor. Remember you may not be able to control your circumstances but you everyday you have a choice about how you react to them and the way you live your life.
