Facing uncertainty

When faced with an uncertain future, it is wise to focus on that which you control: Your effort and ability to choose to be positive regardless of your circumstance.

I believe that God has pre-destined my fate and know from reading his book, that he promises to be with me through any trials and tribulations I may face. This does not mean however that I am supposed to just sit around and hope everything works out for the best simply because God promises everything will work out for the good.

When facing a murky future, cast out some fishing lines and see if God sends you any fish. At that point you can decide which fish to keep. However if you don’t cast out any line, it would be foolish to expect a small mouth bass to jump out of the water and into your lap!

In the even he doesn’t send you any fish, I heard that he once fed 5,000 with only two small fish. He’ll provide. Remember, God is good, all the time.
